Welcome to Fairview at River Club
Thank you for taking the time to visit this site! Fairview at River Club was launched in May, 2008, with 150 people from Fairview Baptist Church in downtown Fredericksburg. Today we average over 500 in Sunday morning attendance and have a genuine focus on reaching out to our community with the love of Jesus. We are contemporary in worship style, casual in atmosphere, relevant in approach, passionate about our mission, and enthusiastic in spirit. Our purpose is to impact the Fredericksburg area with the love of Jesus, one person at a time. We partner with many groups in the community to provide excellent opportunities to meet real needs of people within our community and around the world.
We are very serious about providing an exciting program, with spiritual depth, for preschool and elementary-aged children and for Middle School and High School students. Also, we energetically reach out to Sub30s in our community (college-aged and twenties).
“The larger we grow, the smaller we have to think.” That theme reminds us of the importance of having a vibrant system of small group Bible studies (Growth Groups). We have groups that meet almost every day of the week and in a variety of locations throughout the Fredericksburg area. We want to provide opportunities for people to develop support groups and build relationships.
We would love to have you participate with us on Sunday morning. Our worship services are at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Currently, we offer our preschool ministry at both hours and our Kid's Quest elementary-aged ministry during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Also, we have classes for Middle School students during the 11:00 a.m. service. Feel free to dress casually and come a few minutes early for some coffee and snacks. When you attend on Sunday morning, please make sure and introduce yourself to me following the worship service. I look forward to meeting you!
Regardless whether you have been attending church all of your life or if you do not have any history of church involvement, we want you to feel welcome with our folks and have a genuine encounter with God during our worship time.
