What to Expect

It is never easy to visit a church for the first time, so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a positive one.

What to Wear
A few people dress up, but most people choose to dress down and come casual. Come the way that you feel most comfortable.

Parking
Don't be surprised if there's someone in the parking lot to say "good morning!" At Fairview at River Club, you'll notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and walks of life. An usher will give you a program, which includes church announcements and a note-taking sheet for the message. A greeter is available to help you find seating in the worship center or to the children's area if you have little ones to be cared for during the service. Once seated in the worship center, you'll want to look at the side screens to get an idea of upcoming events and opportunities.

Worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We present a live upbeat worship experience with guitars, drums, the works; as well as more intimate songs of worship. Everyone worships in their own unique way – for many, that means singing & clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the lyrics.

Offering
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our members and regular attenders, allowing them to thank and honor God for who He is and the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives FRC the means to reach more people for Jesus Christ in the future.

The Message (Sermon)
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straight-forward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

Children
While adults are in the worship center, their kids are listening to their own dynamic interactive message, learning principles that can be lived out all week long. Children are divided into classrooms with age-appropriate teachings and activities, discussing topics that will help them build a solid foundation and a strong relationship with God.

Communion
Several times a year we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – provided they've made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

After the Service

Visit the Connection Room

As a guest, you'll be asked to fill out a Connection Card during the service. Everyone fills out a card and drops it in the offering plate. Stop by the Connection Room following the message and pick up a free gift.

Visit the Gathering Grounds
If you'd like a cup of coffee and a snack after the service, or just want to sit and chat with friends or family, our Gathering Grounds is a comfortable place to relax and connect with others.

Picking up your Kids
Make sure that you have the security tags the nursery and children's workers gave you when you dropped them off. Child safety is an essential element and a priority at FRC. The children's program will run a little longer than the service, giving you time to visit the Connection Room or have some coffee in our Gathering Grounds.
