Accept Jesus Christ
The Bible tells us that God is knocking at the door of our lives, and in response we have to open that door and let Him in. God wants to have a personal relationship with us…that begins at that moment, and lasts for eternity. |
|
 |
Baptism
Baptism is an outward expression of an inner experience one has had with Jesus. Baptism affirms our commitment to God, and illustrates our new life in Christ. |

Starting Point Class
Every journey has a starting point. This class explores God's grand story and how we fit in. We will open the Bible and examine key truths of the Christian faith. Starting Point is an accepting and welcome environment where no question is a bad question. |

Volunteer Opportunities
One of our core values at FRC is servanthood. Our volunteer opportunities help people plug into the life of the church, but also serve to promote spiritual growth. |
|

 |
Church Membership
Membership at FRC is not like membership in a social club or other organizations. Most organization members are consumers; the organization exists to serve them. At River Club membership means ministry and service, going from being a consumer to becoming a provider of God's love and care to others. We take seriously that we are a church not for ourselves, but for others. Membership says “I am totally committed to this body of believers”. Membership matters. |

 |
Systematic Giving
Stewardship is discipleship. Jesus talked more about money and possessions than about faith and prayer combined. Helping people grow in the discipline of giving is a key element of overall discipleship. |

Catalyst Classes
Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago has spent several years compiling research from hundreds of churches identifying what really drives spiritual growth. Our FRC Catalyst Classes are a targeted effort based on this research. |

Catalyst Resources
This website is a great place to begin exploring the many online spiritual growth resources available such as Bible Reading Plans and Daily Devotionals. Today's technology provides us many ways to learn, grow and develop our personal spiritual practices. |

 |
Growth Groups
At FRC we understand that spiritual growth is not an individual sport. We all need a small group of believers, to help encourage each other, support, trust and build accountability. At FRC, our Growth Groups are on a twelve-week semester basis. |

Ministry Opportunities and Missions
One of our other core values is to be "outward focused" as we endeavor to get outside the walls of our church and to make a difference, serving the needs of our community or wherever God calls us. |
